The Ember Leadership Academy, the newest program of Leadership Hendricks County, is a transformative 5-month leadership development journey designed for individuals ready to illuminate their leadership potential. Running from April through August, this program meets once a month to provide participants with the tools, insights, and network they need to thrive as leaders in today’s dynamic world.

Through hands-on learning, engaging discussions, and meaningful collaboration, Ember fosters a community of leaders equipped to inspire change, make informed decisions, and navigate challenges with confidence and resilience. Whether you're an emerging leader or looking to sharpen your existing skills, Ember is here to help you unlock your full potential.

Program Structure

Each month, participants will focus on one of the five core principles of leadership:

1. Communication – Learn to convey your vision effectively and build strong relationships through clear, authentic communication.

2. Emotional Intelligence – Develop the self-awareness and empathy necessary to lead with compassion and strength.

3. Decision-Making – Hone your ability to make sound, strategic decisions in complex situations.

4. Vision and Strategic Thinking – Cultivate the foresight and planning skills required to lead with a long-term, impactful vision.

5. Adaptability and Resilience – Build the resilience to thrive in the face of challenges and lead through change with confidence.

Schedule & Commitment

• Duration: April through August

• Sessions: One full-day session per month

• Location: Various Hendricks County locations, in person

• Time: Class days start at 12 PM and go until 5 PM or 8 PM.
